Sidney D. Bluming has practiced in the corporate, commercial and intellectual property areas for over 35 years, representing private and public companies, including manufacturers, designers, retailers, distributors, software developers and consultants, as well as senior executives, celebrities, fashion models and athletes.

He has diverse and extensive experience in all phases of business matters and transactions, and has been doing intellectual property licensing and counseling (trademark, copyright, software) for over 30 years. Business matters include those of all descriptions, contracts, dispute management and the full spectrum of transactions, and representation of individuals on employment, termination, sponsorship, licensing endorsement and other major contract and business areas. Mr. Bluming has written for numerous publications on licensing matters and has testified as an expert in arbitrations across the country; he has been a panelist on Licensing Executives Society (LES) and Licensing Industry Manufacturers Association (LIMA) trademark licensing panels, and has appeared on Sky Radio Net's in flight audio program showcasing America's Best Lawyers. Mr. Bluming has impacted over 1000 license agreements, and has been involved in several significant celebrity license transactions, representing the celebrities in some, and retailers or manufacturers in others. He has represented television and film performers, directors, producers and writers.

Mr. Bluming has extensive arbitration experience, handling domestically, a significant ICC Arbitration in Italy, and a multi-national dispute under CEDR situs in London. He is a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and the National Arbitration Forum. Mr. Bluming also has an active international - cross border practice, representing and counseling foreign clients in all of their U.S. based matters involving agreements, ventures and disputes. He is the founding United States delegate to an international network of lawyers located 105 cities in 36 countries throughout the world.

Mr. Bluming earned his JD from Brooklyn Law School in 1968, having served as an Editor on the Brooklyn Law Review and has a degree in accounting from Queens College. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and American Bar Association (and a member of the business and intellectual property sections), the Licensing Executives Society and International Trademark Association (firm delegate). He is a lifetime fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
